The Youth Treatment Specialist — Residential Behavioral Health, Weekends role is onsite in Grand Rapids, MI, with pay of $20.50–$22.50 per hour. The schedule is Friday through Sunday in 12-hour shifts, with a fixed start time between 7 a.m. and 9 a.m. Wedgwood Christian Services supports adolescents in residential behavioral health care, including youth healing from substance use. The specialist provides consistent direct care that helps young people build resilience, emotional regulation, life skills, and positive identity. Working with therapists and case managers, the role implements individualized treatment plans and maintains a safe, trauma-informed therapeutic environment.

What you'll do

• Implement individualized treatment plans with therapists and case managers
• build mentoring relationships
• use verbal de-escalation and crisis intervention
• teach communication, problem-solving, and daily living skills
• support recreational and skill-building activities
• administer medications as assigned
• document records
• and transport residents to appointments, school, court, or community activities as needed.
