CT Technologist PRN in Round Rock, TX. This is an onsite, per diem position with a salary range of $0.0 - $0.0 USD per year. St. David's Round Rock Medical Center is part of HCA Healthcare, a leading provider of healthcare services. This role performs CT scans, prepares patients, operates CT scan equipment, and ensures image quality. The position requires current Texas MRT/TMB license, current BLS certification, and ARRT(R) certification within 90 days of CT assignment.

What you'll do

  • Demonstrate knowledge of human anatomy, disease processes and functions, patient care, positioning, principles of radiographic sciences, radiation protection and specialized techniques
  • Verify written orders match requisition prior to performing exam
  • Follow appropriate protocol for the exam ordered
  • Administer contrast material using proper technique
  • Enter appropriate charges and review for accuracy
  • Correlate patient’s clinical history with procedure, assuring information is documented and available for use by the radiologist
  • Manage patient flow to ensure that exams are prioritized appropriately and performed efficiently.

What we're looking for

Education
Graduate from a school of Radiologic Technology approved by the American Medical Association
Experience
One year experience as a Radiology Technologist – preferred; One year experience as a CT Technologist - preferred
