What you'll do

• Welcome and room patients
• verify information and document vital signs, medical history, medications, allergies, and chief complaints in the EMR
• prepare rooms and patients
• assist with examinations and minor procedures
• administer vaccines and medications under established protocols
• perform venipuncture, specimen collection, point-of-care testing, screenings, EKGs, spirometry, and basic wound care when ordered
• maintain EMR documentation
• support refill requests, authorizations, results, referrals, and follow-up scheduling
• maintain exam rooms and supplies
• follow infection prevention, safety, and confidentiality requirements.

Why this role

Float coverage across Pierson, DeLand, Deltona, and Daytona; current Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, CCMA, or NCMA) and graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant training program are required. Monday–Friday operating hours are 8:00 a.m.–6:30 p.m.; scheduled shifts vary within those hours.
