The Sales Lead role is onsite in Long Beach, CA. Compensation is not specified. The Salvation Army’s Adult Rehabilitation Center retail operation supports spiritual, social, and rehabilitation programs for people in need. The Sales Lead partners with the Store Manager on daily operations and may assume operational responsibility when managers are absent. The role supports sales, customer and donor service, store security, and the mentoring and work-therapy experience of program beneficiaries.

What you'll do

• Partner with the Store Manager on opening and closing, point-of-sale operations, inventory, merchandising, and donations
• oversee day-to-day operations when managers are absent
• monitor sales and performance indicators
• schedule, coach, and train employees when covering for managers
• support customer and donor service
• assist with back-room processing and beneficiary work-therapy assignments
• help protect store property and maintain safety.
