Entry-Level Information Technology Security Analyst

The Entry-Level Information Technology Security Analyst role is onsite in Cayce, SC. Compensation is not specified. The analyst helps identify, investigate, and document potential security threats across networks, endpoints, and servers. By assisting with threat hunting, incident triage, vulnerability management, and security awareness, the role contributes to the organization’s security posture and continuous improvement.

What you'll do

• Monitor threat intelligence feeds and document findings
• use open-source intelligence tools
• search for suspicious network and endpoint activity and help refine detection rules
• review logs and escalate indicators of compromise
• assist with incident triage, evidence gathering, documentation, containment, and remediation
• prepare reports and training materials
• analyze vulnerability reports and prioritize patching
• support security awareness training
• use SCCM, Group Policy, and PowerShell for patch deployment and automation
• configure endpoint policies and analyze alerts
• and investigate incidents and collect evidence.
