Mobile Service Technician — Commercial Tires

Compensation is not specified. The Mobile Service Technician role is an onsite position based in La Grande, OR. Southern Tire Mart at Pilot is a commercial tire dealer and truck retreader. The technician responds to roadside and on-site service needs, diagnosing tire and related mechanical issues and maintaining fleets. The work supports customers by restoring tire service and keeping vehicles and equipment safe and operational.

What you'll do

• Respond to roadside and on-site calls in a service truck
• mount, dismount, balance, and repair passenger, light truck, commercial truck, and industrial tires
• diagnose tire issues and perform light mechanical repairs
• inspect tires and wheels
• perform fleet inspections and preventive maintenance when required
• use TPMS and diagnostic tools
• maintain the service truck and equipment
• follow DOT and safety rules
• communicate service details to customers
• assist with warehouse or shop duties when not on calls.
