What you'll do

• Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and project documents
• evaluate materials and suppliers
• source and qualify vendors
• negotiate pricing, terms, and lead times
• manage vendor performance
• analyze purchasing needs and shortages in the Purchasing Tracker and IFS ERP
• coordinate with production, engineering, receiving, and project management
• issue purchase orders and monitor delivery commitments
• maintain records and track cost savings.
