Radiology Assistant

What you'll do

• Schedule biopsies and MRIs
• check mammography and ultrasound schedules and requisitions for accuracy
• respond to requests and questions
• monitor appointment delays and schedule changes
• communicate with patients and referring physicians
• obtain and follow up on pathology reports
• call stat reports
• obtain prior imaging and ensure images are moved into the system
• gather patient information and conduct interviews needed to schedule biopsies
• maintain charts and files
• and support radiologists while they read images.
