Landscape & Garden Maintenance Technician — Four-Day Week

The Landscape & Garden Maintenance Technician role is onsite in Seattle, Washington, with a Monday–Thursday, four-day schedule of 10-hour days; winter days may be up to eight hours. Pay is $22–$30 per hour depending on experience. Rutheo Designs works on habitat restoration, edible gardens, and ecological services. The technician helps keep client landscapes healthy and functioning ecologically throughout the year, working with a small crew on established landscapes and seasonal improvements. The role supports habitat-friendly practices and may include occasional on-site client interaction.

What you'll do

• Perform lawn and garden maintenance
• care for and prune plants
• weed and remove invasive plants
• improve soil and mulch
• plant seasonally
• check and adjust basic irrigation
• follow crew lead direction and scheduled routes
• communicate progress or concerns to supervisors
• maintain professional, quality work and treat coworkers and clients respectfully.
