The Controls Testing & Data Analytics Specialist role is onsite in Washington, DC. Compensation is $40–$42 per hour. The specialist supports a newly established fraud risk management program at a major passenger-rail organization, with structured findings handed to the Office of Inspector General. This hands-on role exists to test and monitor controls across financial and operational fraud risks, using analytics to identify exceptions and support stronger controls. It contributes to the program by building continuous monitoring, reviewing hotline intake and anomalous flags, and helping mature the fraud framework.

What you'll do

• Design, build, and execute data-driven control tests across financial and operational risk
• build continuous-monitoring scripts and models using SQL, Python, or Power BI
• take hotline intake, review anomalous flags, and compile forensic handoffs for the Office of Inspector General
• work with finance and technology to strengthen ICFR and operational fraud controls
• recommend ways to mature the fraud framework.
