Entry-Level Monitoring Technician (LDAR)

The Entry-Level Monitoring Technician (LDAR) position is onsite at client sites in Chalmette, LA, paying a starting rate of $20 per hour. Alliance Technical Group describes the work as protecting the environment in the oil and gas industry. The technician monitors equipment components for leaks and emissions, maintains and calibrates analyzers, documents findings, and supports leak-repair activities as required. Daily safety practices, inspections, and reporting help clients identify emissions sources and maintain safe worksite operations.

What you'll do

• Monitor components such as valves, pumps, and connectors for leaks
• calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot analyzers
• identify and report component changes, new or removed components, AVO leaks, open-ended lines, and missing tags
• support leak repair activities as required
• complete daily job hazard analyses, equipment and vehicle inspections, and paperwork
• attend toolbox and safety meetings
• complete assigned safety and knowledge training.
