Senior Program Analyst – Budget & Financial Management

Job overview

The Senior Program Analyst – Budget & Financial Management role is primarily remote, with required residence within 50 miles of the designated CBP office and onsite reporting as needed. Compensation is $64,000–$70,000 per year. The analyst supports the Budget IAA Team and Budget Execution Team. The analyst manages and monitors interagency agreement and budget execution processes, helping ensure funds are documented, obligated, tracked, and aligned with spend plans. The work supports timely financial operations by identifying discrepancies, resolving processing issues, and coordinating with internal offices and external partners.

What you'll do

• Support budget and financial management activities involving interagency agreements, obligations, de-obligations, spend plans, commitments, expenditures, and unliquidated obligations
• review IAA documentation
• prepare and review 7600A and 7600B forms
• process agreements and resolve delays
• obligate and de-obligate agreements as authorized
• monitor funds and requests
• assist with spend plans and unfunded requirements
• analyze expenditures and reports
• identify discrepancies and support close-out.
