Chiller Service Technician

Job overview

The Chiller Service Technician role is onsite, servicing customers throughout South Houston, TX. Pay is $50–$65 per hour. The position supports commercial and industrial chiller customers. The technician maintains, diagnoses, troubleshoots, and repairs chiller systems, with a focus on screw and centrifugal equipment. This work restores equipment operation and supports safe, reliable performance at customer locations.

What you'll do

• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs on commercial and industrial chiller systems
• service screw and centrifugal chillers and associated equipment
• diagnose mechanical, electrical, refrigeration, and controls issues
• repair or replace components
• handle refrigerants according to applicable requirements
• troubleshoot motors, VFDs, pumps, heat exchangers, valves, and related equipment
• use diagnostic instruments
• interpret manuals and schematics
• communicate equipment conditions and recommended repairs to customers
• follow safety procedures and complete service documentation.
