The Registered Nurse (RN) – Behavioral Health Urgent Care role is onsite in Lumberton, NC, working 7 p.m.–7 a.m. for three to four 12-hour shifts each week (36–48 hours). Compensation starts at $36 per hour, and the posting offers a $5,000 sign-on bonus. The nurse supports a Tier IV Behavioral Health Urgent Care program serving mental health and substance abuse crises. The RN manages medications, screens medical concerns, and promotes whole-person health. The role coordinates with providers and the care team, supports triage and discharge-related work, and documents encounters to help deliver integrated crisis care.

What you'll do

• Manage medications with providers
• administer and document treatments
• screen and monitor side effects using AIMS and nursing assessments
• build rapport and promote health education and medication adherence
• coordinate with providers and educate the team about symptoms and side effects
• supervise LPNs
• support triage, vital signs, and emergency screenings
• document billable encounters in the EMR within 24 hours
• support IVC, discharge planning, and follow-ups.
