Float School Nurse

The Float School Nurse role is onsite and floats among Marklund campuses in Elgin, Geneva, and Bloomingdale, IL. Compensation is $29.25–$34 per hour for an LPN or $31.25–$36 per hour for an RN, based on qualifications and experience. The schedule is 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m., four days a week. Marklund serves people with profound disabilities and special healthcare needs. The nurse addresses students' health needs and coordinates with school staff, families, healthcare providers, and community agencies. The role supports students' access to educational opportunities through medication administration, treatments, health documentation, and participation in student planning meetings as needed.

What you'll do

• Administer medications
• provide prescribed tube feedings and treatments
• prepare annual student health histories as needed
• attend student IDT and IEP meetings as needed
• complete daily documentation.
