What you'll do

• Review customer drawings, work orders, and blueprints to determine finished-item characteristics, materials, and machine setup. Retrieve materials and set up tools
• cut, saw, clamp, fit, bolt, bend, weld, finish, and grind parts as needed. Check work against standards using visual inspection, touch, tape rules, calipers, or gauges
• maintain and improve the work area
• create failure-proof tooling and fixtures
• follow safety, quality, and environmental processes.
