The Co-Teacher role is onsite in Perris, CA, and pays $23–$24 per hour. The Co-Teacher partners with the Lead Teacher and Site Supervisor to support classroom instruction and operations at Heartbeat Music & Performing Arts Academy. The role contributes to a safe, inclusive learning environment by helping implement curriculum, supervising children, supporting routines and behavior guidance, and assisting with assessment and documentation. It also supports family engagement and classroom continuity while following program policies and applicable licensing requirements.

What you'll do

• Partner with the Site Supervisor to implement curriculum, activities, and lesson plans
• adapt activities to children’s developmental needs
• actively supervise children and support daily routines
• use positive behavior guidance
• assist with observations, assessments, and classroom records
• communicate with families as assigned
• collaborate with classroom staff
• support classroom setup, sanitation, and continuity
• follow policies and licensing requirements.
