Behavioral Aide

Compensation is $17–$18 per hour. The Behavioral Aide role is onsite in Flint, MI, with the description identifying active-treatment coordination in Detroit, MI. Spectrum Human Services supports children, families, and communities across Michigan, including children and teens with behavioral and emotional challenges. The aide provides behavioral support and active-treatment coordination for youth who may be transitioning from psychiatric placement or be at risk of hospitalization. The role helps maintain support through mentoring, respite, supervised parent visits, provider communication, and required documentation.

What you'll do

• Coordinate active treatment on assigned shifts
• provide behavioral support through mentoring and day respite
• supervise parent visitation
• file and complete paperwork
• contact providers
• implement treatment plans, goals, and behavioral interventions established by the treatment team
• provide program support to children with serious emotional disturbance in a respectful manner.
