This role exists to drive innovation and execution by designing and qualifying electrical components, sub-systems, and system architectures. The lead will provide technical leadership, coaching, and mentoring to the design team while ensuring compliance with project requirements, industry standards, and manufacturing best practices.

What you'll do

• Plans, directs, and coordinates activities of the engineering team
• provides coaching and development
• develops design scope and timelines
• supports design of electrical components and sub-systems
• performs complex design calculations
• produces documentation including schematics and prints
• interacts with manufacturing and purchasing
• supports prototype and pilot builds
• works with suppliers
• supports service and aftermarket teams.
