What you'll do

• The EP Lab Tech assists in all procedures performed in the EP area.
• The EP Technologist requires detailed knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy, physiology, disease processes and principles of cardiovascular diagnostic and interventional technology in a safe patient care.
• The EP Technologist demonstrates an expert knowledge of radiological equipment and safety, shielding techniques, expert imaging skills and X-ray equipment trouble-shooting skills, analyzing, 3D mapping and recording equipment and other equipment utilized in the Electrophysiology Lab, and performs unit-based activities, which contribute to a positive and professional work environment.
• Renders patient care in a professional and courteous manner.
• Explain all procedures to the patient.
• Performs physical assessment by checking IV's, catheters, tubing, etc.
• Communicates and coordinates all Interventional Radiology procedures with the appropriate caregivers.

What we're looking for

Education

High School Graduate / GED.

Experience

Graduate of accredited school of cardiovascular technology is required.
