The CDL A Driver Trainee role is an onsite position based in Natural Bridge, NY. Compensation for this role is between $29 and $31.15 per hour, and this position supports the distribution operations of US Foods, Inc. The role exists to provide training for individuals to become professional delivery drivers. The trainee will learn to safely transport and deliver food products while adhering to company standards and DOT regulations.
What you'll do
- Safely drive trucks to customers and meet scheduled customer delivery times.
- Carefully unload products from the trailer with a two-wheeler, pallet jack, or by hand and place in designated customer storage areas.
- Verify accuracy of delivery with customers and obtain proper signatures.
- Handle collections and payments from customers when applicable.
- Perform all pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspection.
