Registered Nurse (RN) - Long Term Care (LTC) - FT Days in Creston, NE. This is an onsite position with a salary range of $32.00 - $48.00 per hour. Good Samaritan is a not-for-profit organization with over 100 years of service to seniors. The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for utilizing the nursing process to provide individualized nursing care to residents. This role collaborates with residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams to plan, implement, and evaluate care, ensuring it aligns with professional nursing standards and the Nurse Practice Act.

What you'll do

• Utilize the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation and evaluation) to provide individualized nursing care to residents.
• Collaborate with resident and family, other inter-disciplinary colleagues, including providers, to plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Demonstrate competency and practice within the full scope of nursing expertise/knowledge and utilize appropriate age and population specific standards.
• Care for residents in all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment.
• Coordinate care, resident assessment, resident education and various other nursing interventions.
• May serve as charge nurse and delegate appropriate tasks to license and unlicensed assistive personnel.
• Provide adequate assistance and support to delegates to ensure safe, reliable administration of resident care and resolution of care and service concerns.
• Function within the scopes and standards of nursing practice as outlined in the Nurse Practice Act and Administrative Rules in state of practice and licensure.
• Recognize the Scope and Standards of Practice and the Code of Ethics for Nurses as published by the American Nurses Association.

What we're looking for

Education

Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing.

Experience

Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred. Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred.
