The Registered Nurse (RN) — Hospice Inpatient Unit role is onsite at the Mitchell Campus in Cheektowaga, New York, near Buffalo. Compensation is $38–$49 per hour. The inpatient unit provides a home-like setting for patients whose symptoms cannot be managed at home or who need short-term respite care.

What you'll do

• Provide individualized nursing care in accordance with physician orders, hospice objectives, organizational policies, and the State Nurse Practice Act. Conduct comprehensive assessments, manage pain and symptoms, update care plans, document care, and support admissions and discharges. The schedule is two part-time shifts per week, 10 a.m.–6 p.m., with rotating holidays and every-other-weekend rotation
• the role may provide backup charge RN coverage and patient assignments as needed.
