Through companionship, activities, appointment support, and everyday assistance, the role contributes to clients’ wellbeing and connection with the world around them.

What you'll do

• Provide companionship to older adults and people with chronic health conditions at home
• plan activities outside the home and accompany clients to outings
• escort clients to medical appointments
• run errands
• remind clients to take medications
• do light exercise with clients
• assist with meal preparation
• perform light housekeeping, including dusting, tidying, and laundry. Shifts vary from 4 to 12 hours and include weekdays and weekends
• proof of COVID vaccination is required.
