The Lead Field Service Technician role is an onsite position based in Brooklyn Park, MN, with a salary range of $44.00 - $85.00 per hour. Qualus is a leading power solutions firm focused on grid modernization and infrastructure transformation. This role exists to test, maintain, and repair critical electrical equipment such as circuit breakers and transformers. By leading operations in both shop and field environments, the technician ensures the reliability and functionality of essential power systems for various industrial clients.

What you'll do

• Perform testing on low and medium voltage breakers including Megger, Ductor, Hi-Pot, Hi-Current, and Timing tests.
• Complete mechanical work and repairs on breakers, including tear down, refurbishment and parts replacement.
• Utilize and accurately read meters.
• Read schematics and wiring drawings.
• Troubleshoot circuit controls.
• Read and plot time-current curves.
• Read and understand electrical one-line drawings and symbols.
• Test power and current transformers.
• Accurately and consistently document using Power DB.
