Addiction Counselor – Outpatient and IOP

The Addiction Counselor – Outpatient and IOP role is onsite in Parkville, MD, with pay of $26.00–$36.50 per hour based on credentials and experience. Renewing Me Behavioral Health Solutions provides substance use treatment through outpatient and intensive outpatient programs and serves people with co-occurring mental health needs. The counselor delivers individual and group treatment, supports recovery and relapse-prevention skills, and completes clinical documentation and planning. Coordination with the clinical team helps provide organized, evidence-based care across the programs.

What you'll do

• Facilitate outpatient and IOP counseling groups using practical, evidence-based approaches
• provide individual substance use counseling and help consumers build recovery and relapse-prevention skills
• complete assessments, treatment plans, ASAM reviews, progress notes, and discharge plans
• coordinate care with therapists, the prescriber, and other team members
• participate in clinical supervision, team meetings, and quality improvement activities.
