What you'll do

• Decontaminate, wrap, and sterilize instruments, supplies, and equipment
• sort, inspect, and assemble surgical instruments
• select supplies and anticipate OR needs
• check equipment and report unsafe conditions or malfunctions
• verify sterilization exposure
• monitor wash solutions
• maintain inventory and environmental conditions
• collect and distribute instruments and equipment
• participate in safety training and quality improvement.
