Fire Extinguisher and Suppression Technician

The Fire Extinguisher and Suppression Technician role is onsite in Sparks, NV. Compensation is $22–$24 per hour, with the higher rate for technicians licensed in fire extinguishers. State Fire installs and services fire alarms, suppression systems, security solutions, and other fire-protection systems. The technician inspects, services, and repairs commercial kitchen suppression systems and fire extinguishers, and maintains emergency and exit lighting. The role supports customer safety through inspections, maintenance, accurate reporting, and customer relationships; cross-training into other fire-protection areas may occur over time.

What you'll do

• Inspect, service, and repair commercial kitchen fire suppression systems
• perform annual fire-extinguisher testing and maintenance
• inspect and maintain emergency and exit lighting
• complete inspection reports and daily paperwork using a company-provided iPad
• serve existing clients and build customer relationships.
