Senior Estimator — Industrial Construction

The Senior Estimator role is onsite in Mesa, AZ. Compensation is $85,000–$100,000 per year. The estimator collaborates with Graywolf’s fabrication, purchasing, field erection, pre-construction, sub-fabrication, and vendor teams to prepare estimates that the pre-construction team can interpret and execute.

What you'll do

• Review blueprints, specifications, and bid documents
• prepare detailed estimates for new projects and change orders
• quantify steel materials and estimate labor, materials, equipment, and buyout costs. Collaborate with project, sales, and pre-construction teams, identify and communicate cost risks, prepare alternative estimates when requested, and enter estimates and takeoffs into the company’s system.

Why this role

Requires five or more years of industrial construction estimating experience and structural steel experience unless the candidate has a bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field. A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a college degree and prior lead or supervisory estimator experience are preferred.
