What you'll do

• During training, learn property damage assessment and investigation, construction fundamentals, policy interpretation and coverage analysis, Xactimate estimating, claim documentation, customer communication, and industry regulations. Following successful training, investigate residential and commercial property claims
• virtually inspect buildings and document damage
• analyze claim and policy information
• prepare repair and replacement estimates
• assist in determining coverage, damages, and exposure
• prepare reports
• communicate with policyholders, contractors, consultants, and carriers
• participate in subrogation and causation investigations when applicable
• manage assigned claim inventory
• travel throughout the assigned New Jersey territory to inspect losses.
