What you'll do

• Performs routine Nuclear Medicine procedures and produces quality images while applying radiation safety.
• Verifies physician orders, screens patients for appropriateness of study, educates patients, selects appropriate protocols, and demonstrates ability to problem solve image quality.
• Provides patient care for a population base of all ages including pediatric through geriatric.
• Assures the equipment is functioning properly.
• Prepares radiopharmaceuticals.
• Coordinates technical work and patient flow.
• Provides computer-enhanced post-processing of procedure.
• Establishes and maintains a good rapport and a professional relationship with fellow employees, other departments and Medical Staff.
• May be required to work at Ocala Regional Hospital, West Marion Community Hospital, or The Free Standing Emergency Department.
