What you'll do

• Safely operate a school van to transport students between home and school or to school-sponsored activities
• follow transportation schedules, traffic laws, safety procedures, and school policies
• review routes and suggest efficiency improvements
• maintain student attendance logs
• report incidents and safety concerns and complete reports
• participate in safety drills and driver training
• implement student safety procedures and report behavior concerns
• communicate with students, parents, and administrators about needs or schedule changes
• keep vehicles clean and report maintenance needs.

Why this role
