What you'll do

• Load, unload, and stage materials, tools, and equipment
• trench, dig, and backfill for underground cable and conduit
• assist with conduit placement and fiber-blowing operations under the foreman’s direction
• set up traffic control and signage
• assist linemen with aerial cable placement and equipment staging
• operate hand tools and light equipment as trained
• maintain and restore safe, clean job sites
• perform routine vehicle and equipment cleaning
• follow safety and PPE procedures, including OSHA and NESC guidelines. Pole climbing may occur under supervision after training and certification.
