Personal Care Assistant (PCA)

The Personal Care Assistant (PCA) role is onsite in Lincolnton, NC, with pay of $10–$16 per hour. Heath House supports seniors through safe, comfortable communities and personalized resident care. The role exists to assist residents with daily living activities and promote their dignity, independence, and well-being. PCAs provide personal care, observe and report changes, support engagement, and help maintain a safe environment.

What you'll do

• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, meals, feeding, and hydration
• observe and report changes in health or behavior to the nursing team
• provide medication reminders and monitor for adverse reactions
• encourage social and community activities
• maintain clean and safe living areas
• follow infection-control and safety procedures
• respond to emergencies according to established procedures.
