Business / Corporate Associate Attorney

The Business / Corporate Associate Attorney role is onsite with some flexibility in Houston, TX. Compensation is $160,000–$180,000 per year plus bonus. The associate will support and help grow the firm's Business Section. The attorney provides transactional legal support and guidance to clients, handling complex business matters and corporate governance. The role contributes to client objectives and the firm's growth through deal work, collaboration across practice groups, and relationship building.

What you'll do

• Advise on mergers and acquisitions, private placements, joint ventures, and strategic alliances
• draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements
• conduct due diligence and risk assessments
• advise on corporate governance, compliance, and filings
• monitor relevant laws and industry trends
• collaborate with the Litigation Section
• build client and colleague relationships
• contribute to Business Section growth.
