Laboratory Technician

The Laboratory Technician role is onsite in Harvey, IL. Compensation is $24 to $25 per hour, and the schedule is first shift, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The role reports to the Technical Service Group Leader and supports physical testing of customer-submitted samples. The technician performs routine analyses, maintains laboratory instruments, and records accurate results. This work supports timely technical service testing and reliable reporting of sample results.

What you'll do

• Perform routine analyses on in-use customer-submitted samples using established methods
• maintain turnaround times
• test other samples as appropriate
• maintain and calibrate instruments
• record test data
• prepare laboratory reagents
• assist with weekly supply inventory
• and participate in housekeeping and routine cleaning and maintenance.
