Shop Service Technician

The Shop Service Technician role is onsite in San Antonio, TX. Pay is $15.28–$24.56 per hour. The position supports HOLT CAT’s shop service work on diesel-powered heavy equipment and related components. The role exists to perform basic inspections, diagnoses, and repairs under immediate supervision. By assisting with equipment maintenance and repair, the technician helps meet customer needs and departmental goals.

What you'll do

• Perform basic disassembly and assembly of machine components using hand, pneumatic, and specialized tools
• assist with rebuilding, repairing, reconditioning, and maintaining equipment
• communicate customer needs to shop management
• learn repair planning and parts ordering
• maintain clean and orderly work areas
• complete repair documentation
• follow safety policies
• participate in training
• work overtime as required by workload and customer needs.
