Design Consultant

Job overview

The Design Consultant role is based in Waterworks’ Boston showroom, with work in the showroom and throughout the local market. The posting describes base salary plus commission but does not provide a numeric compensation range. Waterworks designs bath and kitchen fittings, fixtures, hardware, and related products. The consultant manages a book of business and advises architects, designers, contractors, and homeowners on product solutions for residential projects. The role develops client relationships and new business, manages projects from product selection and specification through quotes and sales, and works toward marketing and sales goals.

What you'll do

• Market Waterworks products to assigned clients and company-provided leads
• meet marketing, quote, order, and sales goals
• develop client relationships and new business
• create and execute a marketing plan
• meet clients in offices, virtually, or in the showroom
• manage projects from initial meetings through product selection, quotes, follow-up, and payment
• maintain CRM updates
• participate in industry and showroom events.
