PRN Pharmacist

The pharmacist supports continuity of care by covering pharmacy staffing needs and providing prescription review, medication guidance, and pharmacy-team supervision. The role also supports patient education, regulatory compliance, inventory control, and coordination with the pharmacy’s PIC and other clinic departments.

What you'll do

• Provide leadership and supervision to pharmacy staff
• assist the PIC with hiring, training, work assignments, and workplace policies
• review prescriptions for accuracy and suitability and advise on medication use
• maintain pharmacy, patient, inventory, and controlled-drug records
• oversee pharmaceutical mixing, packaging, and labeling procedures
• provide specialized patient services and health education
• resolve compliance issues and customer complaints
• maintain HIPAA confidentiality
• handle PIC responsibilities during absences.
