The Experienced Tax Preparer role is onsite in Shelton, WA. Compensation is $17–$28 per hour. Jackson Hewitt provides tax preparation services, and this seasonal opportunity focuses on client service and tax return preparation. The preparer uses prior tax experience and knowledge of tax laws to assist clients with individual, trust, and/or partnership returns. The role supports accurate tax preparation and a positive client experience during the tax season.

What you'll do

• Prepare individual, trust, and/or partnership tax returns using prior experience
• provide customer service and communicate with clients
• use basic computer skills and tax, accounting, finance, retail, or bookkeeping knowledge. The posting requires at least two seasons of prior tax-return experience.
