The Pipeline Designer role is an onsite, full-time position in Dallas, TX. Compensation is not specified. The designer supports Atwell’s Oil & Gas (Hydrocarbons) team, focused on midstream pipeline and facility design. The role develops detailed piping models and construction-ready documentation for oil and natural gas infrastructure. It contributes to coordinated, accurate designs by translating engineering documents into deliverables and working with multiple engineering disciplines through project development.

What you'll do

• Develop 3D piping models and construction drawings using CADWorx and AutoCAD
• design piping arrangements and equipment layouts
• prepare plans, elevations, sections, isometrics, general arrangements, and material takeoffs
• translate P&IDs and specifications into models and deliverables
• coordinate designs around mechanical equipment
• incorporate supports, clearances, accessibility, maintenance, and constructability
• collaborate across engineering disciplines
• support model reviews and quality control
• incorporate redlines, field measurements, vendor drawings, and client comments
• update bills of materials and documentation
• assist with field verification and as-built drawings when required.
