What you'll do

• Greet patients and visitors in person and by phone
• register patients and update demographics
• collect copayments and outstanding balances
• obtain referrals and authorizations
• scan patient information into charts
• generate daily batch transmittal reports
• coordinate patient flow and communicate arrivals or delays
• schedule follow-up visits and, as needed, surgery, diagnostic, and imaging services
• maintain supplies and equipment
• protect patient confidentiality
• support charge entry and accurate medical records.
