Tree Climber Crew Lead

The role is part of SavATree’s General Tree Care Team, which performs pruning, removals, and cabling. The climber performs tree care and safety work while contributing leadership to the crew. Proper climbing, pruning, equipment operation, hazard checks, and communication help protect tree health and support safe service for clients’ landscapes.

What you'll do

• Prune, remove, and cable trees and shrubs
• climb using ropes, saddles, and ladders
• operate chainsaws and aerial lifts
• follow ANSI A300 pruning standards and ANSI Z safety practices
• make proper pruning cuts
• assist with safe tree removals
• identify hazards and conduct safety checks
• perform aerial rescues if necessary
• communicate with team members and clients.
