The Locate Technician – Gas role is onsite in Akron, OH. Compensation is $20–$22 per hour, with entry-level starting pay of $20 per hour. Benchmark provides damage-prevention and utility-locating services to utility companies, municipalities, homeowners, and contractors.

• Use technical equipment to locate underground utilities
• communicate with managers, excavation crews, and homeowners
• interpret job tickets
• read maps and blueprints
• plan efficient routes
• and remove and replace manhole lids.
