Business Analyst – Digital Assets and Payments

Job overview

The Business Analyst – Digital Assets and Payments role is onsite in Charlotte, NC; compensation is $120,000–$135,000 per year. The role supports business and technology teams working on digital assets and payment solutions. The analyst translates business needs into requirements and solution documentation, helping teams define payment and settlement processes and integrate digital-asset platforms with existing banking systems. The work also supports operational controls, testing, and production readiness while accounting for risk, compliance, and regulatory considerations.

What you'll do

• Gather, analyze, and document business, functional, and non-functional requirements. Define use cases for stablecoins, tokenized deposits, digital assets, and blockchain or DLT solutions. Analyze payment and settlement lifecycles, including initiation, authorization, clearing, settlement, reconciliation, and exception management. Create user stories, process flows, acceptance criteria, and solution requirements. Collaborate on integrations between digital-asset platforms and banking or payment systems
• facilitate stakeholder workshops
• define controls and reporting
• consider AML/KYC, privacy, security, regulatory, and audit requirements
• support proofs of concept, business cases, assessments, testing, and production readiness.
