The Robot Operator role is in-office at a facility in Burlingame, CA. Pay is $25–$30 per hour. The role supports a technology company focused on artificial intelligence and advanced computing, through Sigma Design. The operator runs robotic systems to collect demonstration data used to train artificial intelligence and robotics models. Consistent task execution, footage review, and feedback help maintain data quality and improve collection processes and operational efficiency.

What you'll do

• Operate and teleoperate robotic arms using motion-based controls and handheld controllers
• perform pick-and-place, folding, sorting, packing, and assembly tasks
• meet data collection volume and quality targets
• review and annotate footage and identify quality issues
• assist with equipment setup
• suggest process improvements
• follow policies protecting sensitive data.
