The Junior Buyer is an onsite, full-time role initially based in Stuart, FL, with an expected relocation to Port St. Lucie near I-95 and Becker Road around October. The schedule is Monday–Friday, approximately 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m., and compensation is $23–$24 per hour based on experience. GL Staffing Services, Inc. is recruiting for a long-term manufacturing purchasing opportunity that includes extensive training. The buyer supports manufacturing operations by sourcing and purchasing materials, coordinating suppliers, monitoring inventory, and maintaining purchasing data. The role helps align material availability and supplier performance with production needs, customer demand, cost control, and delivery goals.

What you'll do

• Source and purchase materials, parts, supplies, and services for manufacturing
• negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, lead times, shipping, and supplier terms
• coordinate supplier work orders
• monitor inventory and investigate discrepancies
• evaluate supplier performance
• maintain bills of material and purchasing information in ERP/MRP systems
• identify alternate suppliers and materials
• track operational KPIs
• resolve material and supplier issues
• support new product development and continuous improvement
• maintain purchasing records and follow quality, OSHA, MSDS, and company standards.
