What you'll do

• Assess and continuously monitor critically ill patients
• administer medications, IV therapies, blood products, and other ordered treatments
• monitor cardiac rhythms, vital signs, ventilator support, and other critical-care parameters
• respond to changes in condition and emergencies
• collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other team members
• educate and support patients and families
• document care and patient responses.
