Job overview

The Manufacturing Engineer Intern will work onsite in Mesa, AZ, for $25 per hour. The internship is expected to run January 11 through April 23, at 20 hours per week. Amphenol Borisch Technologies provides high-reliability electronic systems for aerospace and defense customers. The intern supports the Engineering team’s production projects and continuous-improvement work, helping improve manufacturing processes, tooling, test yields, and product integrity. The role also contributes to work instructions, equipment validation, and cost and return-on-investment studies.

What you'll do

  • Help develop and revise manufacturing processes
  • assist with tooling and fixture design and implementation
  • analyze failures and troubleshoot test yields
  • support purchasing, quality, test, and production teams
  • contribute to capital-equipment cost justification and return-on-investment studies
  • create and update work instructions
  • support statements of work for equipment implementation and validation.
