Job overview

The Bilingual Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) role is onsite in Smithfield, NC, with compensation of $25–$30 per hour. The position provides in-home services to clients within approximately 20 miles of the employee’s home, with clinic-based sessions also described. Children’s Specialized ABA serves children with autism spectrum disorder through personalized therapy and whole-child care. The role delivers one-on-one applied behavior analysis therapy to help children build communication, social, and daily living skills. Working with a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and care team, the technician implements individualized plans, tracks progress, and communicates with families in English and Spanish.

What you'll do

  • Deliver individualized in-home or clinic-based therapy
  • implement behavior acquisition and reduction plans
  • use electronic tools such as CentralReach for preference assessments and data tracking
  • participate in clinical meetings and supervision
  • maintain program books and teaching materials
  • communicate progress to parents and caregivers
  • provide basic care such as toileting and eating as needed.
